Polymeric Surfaces

Surfaces such as this are becoming very popular with many organisations such as schools, sports clubs and leisure centres all across the UK. Organisations are now choosing and preferring to install polymeric rubber surfacing for their sports courts and athletics facilities.

Polymeric surfaces are formed from a complex mix of polyurethane binders and rubber granules with a top coating. It is a popular sports facility specification option because it provides ideal ball bounce and slip resistance qualities for sports such as tennis and netball. The polymeric surface also allows for good water drainage.

Parkmarks (southern) Ltd can provide full sports court installation, including a wide range of bright colours (Dark and Light Green, Red and Blue), complete with contrasting line markings. These markings can be applied using solvent based polyurethane paints (anti slip). We also install our polymeric surfacing to athletics tracks and associated facilities.
